2024 Awards Ceremony

A fantastic evening was had by all, as cadets and staff were awarded for their various achievements during 2024, from our Cadet’s Best Cadet to our Shooting Award.
Pathfinder Trophy
Cdt CWO Braidwood awarded Cdt FS Smith the Pathfinder Trophy. It is awarded to the cadet who has given it their all and had a go at everything on offer in the organisation.
Academic Trophy
Cdt Cpl Harper was awarded the Academic Trophy by Sqn Ldr Nutten (Deputy Officer Commanding Wing) for attaining the highest average scores in their exams.
Shooting Award
The Shooting Award was awarded to Cdt's CWO Braidwood and Sgt Taylor by WO Campbell for demonstrating shooting excellence in 2023.
Best Recruit
The Best Recruit Trophy was awarded to Cdt Begg by Wg Cdr Copsey (Officer Commanding for North Scotland Wing) for showing the most potential during Junior Cadet Training.
Tiger Moth Trophy
The Tiger Moth Trophy was awarded to Cdt Edmond by Wg Cdr Copsey for showing the greatest overall improvement in the squadron.
Sports Trophy
The Sports Trophy was awarded to Cdt FS Smith by Sqn Ldr Derek Nutten
Best Cadet Runner Up
The Best Cadet Runner-Up was awarded to Cdt Cpl McLoughlin by Sqn Ldr Derek Nutten for gaining the 2nd highest points overall.
Best Cadet
The Best Cadet was awarded to Cdt CWO Braidwood by Sqn Ldr Nutten for gaining the highest points overall.
King's Coronation Medals
Sqn Ldr Nutten, Flt Lt Stephen, WO Donaldson and WO Campbell were awarded medals for 5 years of active service before the King's Coronation.
